Duolin Wang Receives NIH Grant

Duolin Wang, Assistant Professor, has received a new NIH grant for the project “A Multi-Agent AI System for Automated Curation and Functional Annotation of Enzymes in the Human Gut Microbiome.” The project, with total funding of approximately $1.3 million, brings together a collaborative team including Yanbin Yin of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln and Dong Xu as co-investigators.

The research will develop a multi-agent AI framework to automate the curation and functional annotation of enzymes in the human gut microbiome, with the goal of accelerating the discovery and characterization of microbial functions relevant to human health.
